Strong and courageous
What word comes to mind when you think of school starting again? Activities starting again, and a test or quiz ever other day… STRESS! I know from experience that life can get crazy, before we know it we are just speeding by without any time in our days to just sit, and think about what’s happening. We get in our routines, and the weeks go by with us doing the same thing everyday over and over. That’s when I invite God to come in. In these moments when time is racing by and we are busy 24/7 just know that God is there for you, but it’s you that needs to make time for God. Take some time out of your day to pray; pray in the morning for your teachers, a test or a quiz that you are nervous about and pray for HIS guidance and protection during the day. Pray in the afternoon for a loved one, those that are lonely, and your friends, and then pray at night thanking GOD for your blessings. Life is not all middle school or high school; you are only there for 8 hours a day out of the innumerable days of your life. Don’t let one silly bad quiz grade, or a disagreement with a friend take you away from GOD. Let that one quiz or disagreement pull you closer to God in knowing that he will ALWAYS be there for you, and ALWAYS watch over you, and ALWAYS guide and protect you, if you just be still and listen! No problem is too big or small for GOD!
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” ‐ Joshua 1:9
