MY SUMMER PRODUCTIVITY TIPS

Summer is here which means that school is out (????????)!!!!!!!! I know for me summer is such a nice time to reflect on the past year and decide what I want to do and not do the next year. One thing that I know I struggle with during summer and still do somedays is being productive. You go from being in school where you have class 8-3 then 2 hours of homework or more, then to your soccer game, or cheer practice… then its summer and there is absolutely no schedule at alllll! It is soooo soooo beyond easy to want to just sit at home all day binge watching your favorite Netflix show… and there is nothing wrong with a little tv during the day but how is that getting you closer to your goals! Today I am going to share a few tips to try out the rest of summer that will increase your productivity and keep you energized and excited!

  1. Wake up before 8:30…. I know, I know this can be a tricky one especially for the late sleepers… so you could try this say 3 days a week set your alarm and test it out!
  2. Clean your room right after you wake up… don’t procrastinate…!! Make a list of three things you will do everyday to keep your room functional… make your bed, clean your bathroom, organize your closet! Just those 3 things can make you feel so much more organized and keep your room feeling like a peaceful place to recharge.
  3. read 10 pages a day…. I have been doing this throughout the year and find it so important! Find a book that you really enjoy and before bed… right after breakfast… or mid afternoon set a goal to read!!!
  4. Drink water!!!! This might seem super off topic but water can do so many things for your energy levels, brain function, clearing skin and lots more! I try to drink half of my body weight a day in ounces of water.
  5. keep a planner…. this will make you feel so much more organized. write down your goals for the day or simply keep your exact schedule.
  6. Stay active… make it a goal to get outside daily even just walking outside or at the gym for 30 minutes can keep you feeling your best & that is most important!

I hope these tips can keep  you motivated this summer & let me know if you have any questions!

Much Love
