Ever since I was a little girl I have LOVED getting together with my friends and family to make gingerbread houses during Christmas time. Its such a fun way to share this special holiday season together, and a great way to get into the Christmas spirit. Making gingerbread houses always gets me feeling so cheerful and joyous about the season. Today I will be sharing my tried and true tips on my Gingerbread House making experience thats guaranteed to be a fun time.

• Make sure you have some fun candy, my favorites: Gum drops, coconut flakes for the snow on your roof, red and green M&M’s, Marshmallows, Peppermint candy canes… anything red and green

• Fill small bowls with the candy that you have and place each bowl on the table

• Create an exciting Christmas playlist to sing- along to during the house making

• Place your gingerbread houses on your table with a tube of icing and and something to spread the icing with

Then you should be good to go!!!! Have fun & don’t forget to take pictures through the exciting process.
